Aluminum Stair Cover Treads are made from non-rusting aluminum, Stair Treads are predrilled and ready to install. Excellent choice to enhance the look and safety of your home or business. Easily installed on your exterior stairs, docks and ramps when the weather turns.
- Made from .063" (14ga) Thick 5052-H32 Aluminum
- Includes 8 - 1" color matching stainless steel wood screws
Installation Instructions:
- Ensure surface is clean and free from debris
- Use included 1" color matching stainless steel wood screws
- Install screws in the (8) small pre drilled holes
*Traction is improved with the installation of non-slip grip treads and risk of fall is lessened, but caution should always be taken when walking on any stairs/surface, as no product can fully eliminate the risk of slip and injury.
I purchased some of these treads for a set of aluminum stairs that enter the water for swimmers and scuba divers to use. The stairs get extremely slippery when algae grows on them. I was unsure if the treads would be suitable for wet bare feet, but was assured by swimmers that they were better than the grip tape we used on the other side. I just ordered more to install on the remaining stairs. I did not use the supplied screws because they were too long for this application
Theses arrived on time and shipped right away. Great communication with this company with ordering . My only complaint is the finished powered coating on these are so good that it actually makes the tread have less grip. I had to ream out each hole with a screwdriver to achieve the grip that I’d expect from this type of Nonslip tread . Also the screws were not all the same size and missing about a dozen to complete the job (12) steps . Seller did ship fast, product is nice other than that.
